Is it a private tour?

Private Tours Greece and our experienced staff, offers only individual private tours in Athens and all over Greece. Classical, Christian, Wine or Gastronomy, SPA or Activities, are only a few of our Tours. You are also welcome to contact us with your special request a tailor made tour.

Is there specific departure time of the tour?

Even though you can find itinerary for each one tour, we are so flexible to amend the departure time of a daily or a multiday tour according to your needs and wish.

Should I book the tour online or over the telephone?

Private Tours Greece, offers you a 24 hours / 7 days a week, online booking system, so that it is easy to book your tour anytime you wish. For any question you may have or for any further information you may need, you can also send an email to our Customer Care team, and they will reply to you immediately and they will also help you to proceed to a booking. Furthermore, you can call our office, from Monday to Sunday, 07.00 hrs to 23.00 hrs Greek time in order to support your questions over the telephone. TEL +30 210 9249500

Can I get picked up or dropped off to my hotel or in the city or at Athens Airport?

As your tour is a private one, and the only passengers are you and your family or friends, you are free to choose the point that we will pick you up and drop you off after the tour.

Are you offering special group rates?

Private Tours Greece is specialized also to groups from 10 to 100 passengers. Let us know about your special request for your Group, and we will offer you special group rates and the best tour for all of you.

Is credit card necessary in order to book a tour? What about if I am not the cardholder?

Credit Card is not the only way that you are able to book a tour. Ask from our Customer Care team to send you our Bank Account details, in order to make a deposit or to send a wire transfer.

Do I receive a confirmation or a voucher for my booking?

Once that you will book a tour via our online booking system, or our accounts department confirm your deposit or wire transfer, you will receive a detailed confirmation of your booking.

Does this operate all year around including Christmas and Public Holidays?

Private Tours Greece and Customer Care services, operates all year around, so that you can choose and enjoy your private tour 365 days a year. We can also inform about local public holidays, when some archaeological sites, museum etc. may be closed.

What languages are available for this tour?

The majority of the tours and services provided by Private Tours Greece are available in English. In most of the cases, you may be able to select your favorite language option.

Can I cancel my tour?

This information can be found in the Terms & Conditions field, where it is specified our cancellation policy. Not all travel products can be canceled without cost, such as ferry tickets, accommodation etc. Private Tours Greece ensures you that each cancellation will be dealt with flexibility and goodwill.

Is my credit card safe?

Private Tours Greece uses one of the strongest banks of Greece, ALPHABANK S.A. for handling all the payments via online booking system. ALPHABANK S.A. uses the Secure Sockets Layer ("SSL") supported by Microsoft Internet Explorer and all other popular browsers. SSL encrypts your personal information such as your password, address and telephone number, and your credit card is available only to you and the credit card companies.

Can I book more than one tour at a destination?

You may book as many tours as you wish. You can also ask for our Customer Care team to assist you for a combination of different tours. Otherwise, if you proceed to a booking via our online system, each tour must be booked separately, as each individual tour requires a separate confirmation, voucher and credit card transaction.

How do I buy a Gift Certificate?

Private Tours Greece offers a Gift Certificate service. Gift Certificates are not refundable. All Gift Certificates, including any unused balance, expires one year after the date of issue.

How do I redeem a Gift Certificate?

Enter your unique Gift Certificate code on the Payment Details page. If the value of the items you book is greater than your Gift Certificate, you can pay the balance using an acceptable credit card. If the value is less than your Gift Certificate, we'll store the balance in our database for you to use on another occasion. Note that your Gift Certificate, including any unused balance, expires one year after the date of issue.

Can I change/amend my booking dates or destination?

As it is a private tour, you can ask any kind of amendment, such as dates, departure time or destination. Some of travel products cannot be amended without cost, such as ferry tickets, accommodation etc. Also amendment of dates of the tour has to be confirmed with alternative available dates.

What do I do if I am delayed for my tour?

This is a common question for tours, but not for Private Tours Greece. It is your individual private tour, so there is no reason to worry for a delay, as you can start your tour at any time you wish. Only for the half day tours you have to confirm exact time of departure or contact our Customer Care team in order to amend it.

I need to change the passenger names in my booking, what do I do?

This is not a reason to worry about. Contact our Customer Care team and just confirm passengers’ names and passports.

What happens if the tour will be cancel due to bad weather conditions or a strike in Greece?

You can amend your booking dates or check for any other available tour for the same days. Otherwise you will get a refund of 70% of your booking.

Are you offering a Travel Insurance?

We are sorry but we are not offering a travel insurance . Please contact your insurance advisor or broker.
